As 2023 draws to a close, the Tennessee Highway Patrol has planned several Sobriety Checkpoints (also commonly referred to as a “DUI Roadblocks”) in East Tennessee. Motorists in Monroe County can expect a DUI Roadblock on December 29, 2023 on U.S. 411 at the Monroe/Loudon County line. THP has also planned a Knox County Sobriety Checkpoint on New Year’s Eve at Cherokee Trail and Cherokee Bluff Drive.
